The Lookout & Wonderland fiber art project is a concentrated focus on the exploration of the applied arts.  The mission is to create a range of multi-use textiles that allow the viewer to become an active participant in the form and function of the artwork. First Indigo & Shibori Workshop of the New Year

  When: Sunday January 29 11-3pm What you'll learn:   History of Indigo dyeing, the difference between natural and chemical indigo, how to create and properly use two types of food grade indigo vats.                                                                                                                                                     A basic foundation of the art of shibori and how to apply it to fabric What to bring:   A few smaller side (tee/scarf/pillowcase/napkins) pre-washed items made from natural fibers (cotton/linen/silk)  nothing large or bulky What to wear:   Old clothes and shoes you won't mind staining with indigo Where:   Chinatown, LA Space for 12 $120 To save your space pleae RSVP and send payment via Paypal- contact@lookoutandwonderland.com or Venmo @lookoutandwonderland Reservation fee is nonrefundable if cancelled less than 3 days in advance My fermentation vat has been very happy and giving beautiful color, so now is a good chance to see the color that a true indigo fermentation vat gives.
