This piece was created by a lovely elderly woman from Miyama, Japan. Her family was in the Kimono weaving business when she was young and she continues to use up bits and pieces of their antique fabric to keep up her skills in Shibori, Aizome (Indigo Dyeing) and Kakishibu (Persimmon Dyeing). This piece has been hand dyed in her traditional Persimmon tannin . Beautiful as a table runner, scarf or hanging on the wall. 13 inches by 68 inches
