INDIGO INTENSIVE IN MARIN AT NEVE/HAWK
I'm super excited to come up to Marin to teach all about creating and working with Organic Natural Indigo. The intensive has been rescheduled for Saturday May 20.
Come spend the day immersed in the history, alchemy and beauty of the natural Indigo plant, examine the sacred tradition of creating indigo vats, as well as the delicate process of indigo dyeing with expert dyer, Niki Livingston of Lookout & Wonderland. You will also learn hands on how to create two types of chemical free, food grade organic indigo vats that are easy to create at home for a day of dyeing. Then learn the foundation techniques of the art of shibori, along with the conceptual ideas surrounding surface design concerning ready made garments and flat surfaces. Bring a few small pieces to dye and experience the magic of indigo!
