What you'll learn:

How to create and properly use two types of food grade indigo vats

A basic introduction to the art of shibori and how to apply it to a three dimensional surface

What to bring: a few smaller side (tee/scarf/pillowcase/napkins) pre-washed items made from natural fibers (cotton/linen/silk)  nothing large or bulky (no blankets/sweatshirts)

What to wear: Old clothes and shoes you won't mind staining with indigo

You'll also have the opportunity to witness a true traditional fermentation vat, if she's in good health I will give a demonstration. It should be a good chance to see the color that a true indigo fermentation vat gives.
